Some exciting updates! First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredibly talented Dave Otero for his exceptional work mastering our upcoming album, we’re grateful for his contribution to this project.

We’re also excited about dropping the first single, “Renumeration", available now! Renumeration is about diffracting perception through the mind’s deepest corridors. A hypnotic plunge into the psyche, Renumeration decodes frequencies as the language of dreams and nightmares. Numbers Revealing truths hidden in the mind’s furthest depths of consciousness altering frequencies disrupting the biofield.

We have completed the recording and mixing of our upcoming fourth album, Thaumaturgic Veil. The album is currently being mastered by Dave Otero in Colorado, with an anticipated release in Summer 2025.

We toured extensively through May and early June, delivering a standout performance at Milwaukee MetalFest. Upon returning home, we immediately  made a couple line-up changes and began recording our fourth album, Thaumaturgic Veil.

07/2023
Viogression performed select shows in New York, starting with a show in Brooklyn alongside Malignancy and Coronary Thrombosis. This was followed by a commanding performance at the Day of Death Brian Patterson Tribute Festival in Buffalo, with an Indianapolis show concluding the weekend run.

In March 2023, we embarked on a highly successful U.S. tour, which was met with widespread acclaim.

We are thrilled to announce that the initial phase of our 30 Years of Decay tour in April and May 2022 was a resounding success. Additionally, in June 2022, we welcomed the exceptionally talented guitarist Lief Larson, whose addition has enriched our sound with greater complexity and intensity.

Formed in 1988, Viogression established its presence in the metal underground with a series of demos, setting the stage for their critically acclaimed debut, Expound & Exhort (1991, Tombstone Records). This landmark release earned widespread praise and secured the band a world tour alongside luminaries Death and Pestilence. Their second album, Passage (1994, Progressive Records), released incomplete, led to a nine-year hiatus. Reuniting in 2003, Viogression began writing new material, culminating in, A Pure Formality (2014, Temple of Darkness Records), which ignited the band’s resurgence and captivating live performances.

Defying 2020’s global turmoil, they delivered 3rd Stage of Decay, (2022, Satanath Records and Moribund Records). In 2024, Viogression began the recording process for their fourth album, Thaumaturgic Veil, set for release in Summer of 2025, positioned to deliver a transformative new chapter in their distinguished legacy.
