We are pleased to report that the initial phase of our 30 Years of Decay tour, which took place in April and May of 2022, was a resounding success. Building on this momentum, we embarked on another tour in March of 2023, which was met with nothing short of resounding acclaim. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended our shows and joined us on our unyielding quest to descend ever deeper into the unfathomable abyss of darkness.
As we remain steadfast in our pursuit of uncompromising brutality, we implore our fans to stay vigilant for further upcoming show announcements. Our ultimate goal is to disseminate our message of unbridled ferocity to every corner of the globe.
In June of 2022, we proudly welcomed the supremely talented guitarist Lief Larson to our ranks, adding another layer of complexity and intensity to our already formidable sound. Then, in August of the same year, we warmly welcomed Kyle Sweeny to the fold.
We are thrilled to announce that the vinyl and cassette versions of our latest opus, "3rd Stage of Decay," will be available soon. Be sure to keep an eye out for further updates on this highly anticipated release.
For those interested in procuring our merchandise, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. We greatly appreciate your continued support and look forward to bringing you more brutal and unrelenting music in the near future.
Enter the void of Viogression and experience the darkness like never before. In 1989, the band was formed and unleashed three demos that left the world trembling with fear. But that was just the beginning. The fall of 1990 saw the birth of Viogression's debut album, "Expound & Exhort," released by Tombstone Records. The album's chilling sound earned them critical acclaim and a world tour with Death and Pestilence, paving the way for Viogression to plunge deeper into the abyss.
Their second album, "Passage," recorded in 1992, was a haunting journey into the twisted corners of the mind. However, in 1994, Progressive Records released an unfinished recording, leading the band into a nine-year hiatus.
In 2003, Viogression reemerged with renewed passion and began crafting haunting melodies intertwined with crushing brutality. Their EP "A Pure Formality" was released in 2014, this led to a festival performance with Morbid Saint & Possessed. The band's live performances were nothing short of bone-chilling, which lead to shows with Massacre, Nun Slaughter, Blood, and Gruesome to name a few.
As the world descended into plague and chaos in 2020, Viogression began recording their third album, "3rd Stage of Decay," a descent into the depths of the human soul that will haunt you. The album's chilling sound led Viogression to sign with Satanath Records in 2022 for its worldwide release, now available in USA on Moribund Records.
Featuring Brian DeNeffe on vocals, Duane Timlin on drums, Matt Holtz and Aaron Whiteside on guitars, Lief Larson on lead guitar, and Kyle Sweeny and Jason Hellman on bass, the band's current lineup is a force to be reckoned with. Viogression is currently recording their fourth album, "Sic Semper Tyrannis," Viogression's dark and haunting music; an ominous realm that consumes you and takes you on a journey into the abyss, leaving you forever changed. Enter at your own risk.
